Station 34 held a mutual aid drill on Pump and Tanker Operations. Otisville, Cuddebackville, Summitville and Wurtsboro attended the training which involved 25 Firefighters. Drivers were able to work on pumping operations in a Tanker relay. Firefighters also were able to train on CAFS and master stream operations.

The Officers and Members would like to congratulate Firefighter Giraldi on his recent recertification of his New York State EMT. The recertification class ran from September through January at the Orange County 911 Center.We would like to thank Firefighter Giraldi for taking the time to help provide emergency medical care in our community.
We are pleased to announce that Firefighter Kris Bloom passed his EMT course this evening and is now a New York State Certified EMT. Firefighter Bloom attended the accelerated EMT course at the New York State Fire Academy in Mountour Falls, NY. He did well throughout his course. The Officers and Firefighters at Station 34 are very proud of his accomplishment and dedication to completing the EMT course.From all of us......Congratulations Kris!!!!!!
The Officers and Members would like to congratulate Probationary FF Forrester on his acceptance to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After graduating Port Jervis High School in June. FF Forrester will be leaving for basic training in Colorado Springs and will start his academic studies in the Fall.This is a great accomplishment and we are very proud of FF Forrester's work.

Recently our website had it's 200,000th visitor 8 years to the day we launched our website. When we first started our site on February 29th 2008, we never thought we would have over 200,000 visitors. We are glad to provide our community and the Emergency Service Community a look at the work we do for our community. Station 34 would like to thank Firefighters Guerra and Holmes for their recent participation in fire classes. Firefighter Guerra graduated Pump Operator class at the Sullivan County FTC. Firefighter Holmes graduated EVOC hosted at the Cuddebackville Fire House. The Officers and Members would like to congratulate both Firefighters on their recent accomplishments.
Station 34 completed a recert in CPR. 22 Members and Friends of the Company completed the recert. As always, we would like to thank Diane for her support and the time she gives to make our community safer. The Officers are very proud of the commitment of Diane and our Firefighters!
Members of Station 34 along with the Cuddebackville Fire Department spent the day with the kids and staff at HBE promoting fire safety. They had classroom and outside demonstrations. The kids were able to have lunch with the firefighters as well. It was a great combined effort from the two Departments so that our community will be safer. The Firefighters are looking for to next year already.

The Officers and members would like to congratulate Firefighter Mike Guerra on graduating from SUNY Delhi this past weekend. FF Guerra graduated with an associates degree in Electrical Construction/Integrated Energy. During his 2 years at SUNY Delhi, he responded with the Delhi Joint Fire District. FF Guerra will be working for an electrical contractor in Liberty, NY. Everyone at Station 34 is proud of his accomplishment.

24 hours ago the new 34-61 was put in service and now it responded on it's first call. Firefighter Emily Mesnick drove the new 34-61 on the first call. The new truck was purchased from the Clearwater Township Fire Department in Rapid City, Michigan. Members drove to Michigan to inspect the truck. Over the last two weeks Station 34 has been collecting food for the Back Pack Attack program at HBE. Today along with Cuddebackville Fire Dept, we delivered all the food donated to the two Departments while all the teachers and students cheered on. The students also collected food and they did a great job "Stuffing The Bus"!Station 34 would like to thank everyone who donated food for this program.
Station 34 visited students and faculty at Hamilton Bicentennial School today. This is the first year Station 34 was invited by Cuddebackville Fire Department and the school to participate in Fire Prevention day. Assistant Chief Lattimer along with Firefighters E.
