Engine and Tanker To Cuddebackville Structure Fire
Sun. Mar 17th 2019

At 04:15hrs Station 34 was dispatched for the Tanker to a rekindle on Route 209 in Cuddebackville. Upon arrival at the scene, Command (Huguenot Car 1), asked for the Engine and all available manpower to the scene for a working fire. Sullivan Fire was contacted for the request and the Engine was dispatched. 34-31 supplied Huguenot's Engine until they were out of water. The crew from 34-31 assisted Huguenot's Tanker to hook up to the supply line to Huguenot's Engine. The crew then packed up/grabbed tools and stretched a second line into the structure from Huguenot's Engine. 34-11 arrived at the scene and the crew split up. An interior crew assisted 34-31s crew opening up walls while the other crew set up a draft on the end of the driveway. The crew closed a dam on a small stream running next to the driveway and was able to feed the Huguenot Engine,Tanker and 34-31. Interior crews along with a crew from Huguenot knocked the fire down and did an extensive overhaul.

Wurtsboro was on stand by at Station 34 with an Engine and all units were back in service at 06:50hrs.

34-1, 34-2, 34-3, 34-11, 34-31 and 34-62 responded.
