At 1351 Station 34 responded to a 3 car motor vehicle accident on Route 209. NY State Police and Mobile Medic EMS also responded to the scene. There were no reported injuries. All units were back in service at 1414.

At 2300 Tanker 34-31 responded to stand by at the Otisville Fire Station while they were operating at a structure fire in the Greenville Fire District. All units back in service at 0024.

Station 34 responded to a house filled with smoke on the Pine Kill Road. Upon arrival found furnace malfunction as a result of a flooded basement. Otisville responded to the scene with an engine and manpower on mutual aid.

Units that stayed overnight after working in the Bainbridge area were deployed today to the City of Binghamton. Units from Westbrookville were able to assist at least 20 homeowners in the city with thier flood damaged homes.

At 0630 the Westbrookville Fire Company was called out for rapidly rising waters and flooding conditions throughout the fire protection district. Heavy rains and winds as a result of Hurricane Irene caused extremely hazardous and dangerous conditions.
